  4. I say yes.... I will tell you why.It had many grusun parts to it. But "The French And Indian War" is what made the "Treaty Of Paris start! When the war came it was time for the Native Amercians to make a choice. The English settlers desired a more permanent way of life. Their families were farmers, requiring large amounts of land, which was usually taken from the Native Americans. Many English believe that their culture was superior to the Indians. They looked down on the Native Americans and ignored their rights! Both countries kept their allies through trade and marriages. These friendships would be crucial in the war to come!!!!!

  5. I say no because the war was not fought all around the world like the other world wars. Also because there were more wars around the world, and if they were called world wars, then there would probably be more then 2 world wars.

Furthermore, if it was called a world war, it would be backed up with more history and more information like the other world wars. Also, there were more then 5 countries fighting in the official world wars unlike this war.

  6. I think that the French and Indian War should be considered the first world war, but in some cases, it should not. It was the first world war because it was fought in more than one AREA around the world. It was fought in Europe and America.
However, it wasn't fought in every country of the world, just a few. It depends on how people view it, I think.

  7. I feel that the French and Indian war should not be considered the First World War. I feel this way because the First World War was fought in many different parts of the world and the French and Indian War was only fought in a few areas.
The First World war was fought in around twenty different parts of the world. The French and Indian War was only fought in around four different parts of the world. That is my opinion on why the French and Indian War should NOT be considered the First World War.

For this to be considered the first 'true' World War, we'd have to look at alot of contributing factors. Such as, how many countries it was fought in. That may not be a huge amount, but it was fought in dozens of areas. It literally was fought around the whole world, which can make this a world war. Look at the personal gains of Generals and others. There trying to win so there a celebrated hero, thus getting free gifts and such.
Alot of factors were in this war, look at the areas it was fought in. That also added to the outcome of the war. Most of this was for natural resources, unlike the other wars, which were fought for freedom. It all comes down to your opinion, whether you think so or not. Personally, I think it was. Only because if you look at it from certain views, its' a World War. From other views, it isn't.

  9. I think the French and Indian War was the first world war because there was a lot of counrties involved in it. Like Canada, the 13 colonies, Indian ocean, Atlantic ocean, Pacific ocean, India, Philippines, and North America.

  10. The French and Indian war should definently be considered the first actual World War. There are many reasons for this. First being because the whole world at this period of time was fighting and a part of the battles that were taking place. For example, the fighting happened in Europe, North America, and the Oceans. The battles took place because of the fight for natural resources and how imortant money was back then and still is today.

There were many motivating factors to why this war started. There was religious freedom, money, and land. Since there was so much land that had not been taken yet besides the Indians the Europeans saw it as free land. If you were to put your self in their situation, I'm sure you would do the same thing no matter how mean it seemed. This war was the biggest war of its time and involoved everyone, so therefore it should be considered the first real World War.

I feel the French and Indian war should be considered the first world war. I feel this way because a world war isn't called "a world war" for nothing. The French and Indian war was involving seven countries or more. A world war involves multiple parts of the world. The French and Indian war was a major war. We should have three world war.
Many people died during the war. Each world war had many deaths. It involved the French, British, 13 colonies, Indians, Prussians and more. My opinion is that the French and Indian war SHOULD be considered the first world war.
